Action Buttons

Regenerating Permits 


Staff will want to regenerate permits whenever there has been a change to the status of that permit (as explained in the Editing Permits section above on Pages 4/5).

Additionally, if there is ever a time where the downloadable permit is not displaying properly or when a “Page not found” error occurs, selecting the Regenerate Permit buttoncan help solve the problem. 

Changing Payment Status


Staff may be asked to take payment from residents in person should the resident prefer to pay with cash or cheque. The staff member will be able to change the status of the permit from the Browse Permits window.
Just search for the permit or resident and select the Change Payment Status buttonA pop-up will appear where the payment status can be changed.
 
  

After selecting the appropriate payment status, select Save. 

There is also the ability to Send Reminders for payment should a resident apply for the permit online but not complete the payment process. Select the Change Payment Status button to show the pop-up window. Next select the Send Reminder Email:



Adding Notes

** Residents will NOT see any notes that have been added to their account or permit.

To add notes to a specific permit in order to increase the communication between Staff, select the Notes button on the specific permit . A pop-up will appear where you can see, edit or delete previous notes or add new notes:


To add a note, type the note in the text box and select whether it is Account Wide or Permit Specific:



If there are multiple permits and you wish to leave a note on only one, find the [Selected Permit] option to make sure you are on the correct permit. Then select Add Note followed by Save.

Once a note has been added to a specific permit, Staff will see a notification icon attached to the Note button. 



After Notes are added to permits/accounts, Staff will be able to see all updates or important concerns related to that user or that particular permit:
