Active Burns


Overview






  1. Quick snapshot of all the recent burn activations. Highlighting the active burns happening Now, Today (24hr period), This Month and This Year. 
  2. Register Open Burn – if someone is having difficulty registering their burn through the automated phone system or would prefer to talk to a person, the staff member can register that persons burn through this Active Burns Page.
  3. Map – Staff can switch the type of map displayed. The options are:
    1. Standard Google Maps
    2. Hybrid
    3. Street
    4. Topo
  4. Display of Active Burns – this is a quick display of all the active burns in your municipal boundaries.
    1. Staff can gain a quick view of the burn history of a specific location by clicking on the flame.

Register Open Burn


Some Residents may prefer to register their open burn in person or talk to someone over the phone. Staff members are able to manually register that resident’s intent to burn.

To manually register an open burn, select the Register Open Burn button:




A pop-up will appear where Staff can search for the user either by Name or Address:




Once you have found the resident, select their name and select Register:


 



Quick User Look-Up


After clicking on a flame on the active burns map. A Burn History pop-up will appear showing you the location of the address, how many times this resident has burned, their permit, when they called and what risk level they heard when they called in.
