Canned Messages

Canned Messages

The dispatching section is designed to easily facilitate dispatching on the fly. There are two sections within the dispatching section:

1. Canned Messages

2. Responder Limits

The canned messages section is where you can create and edit messages that allow for the ease of dispatching. When dispatching from the Who’s Responding App, the canned messages can be selected from a dropdown with the app and it will automatically populate the message box. This allows the officer or command to easily dispatch resources for specific incidents.

Canned messages also trigger the limited responders sections. To create a canned message that initiates the responder limits, square brackets must be placed around the [text].
