Editing Permit Status

Editing Permit Status

To edit the status of a permit, select the status action button on to the left of the Permit Identifier:

If the action button is Orange– this will signify that this permit is Pending Approval and that action is required by staff. Once the user selected the Pending Approval status action button, a pop up will appear where staff can Reject Permit or Approve Permit:

If the staff member is rejecting the permit, it will ask for a reason for rejection. Once the permit has been rejected, select the Regenerate Permit button on the right which will then email the resident explaining why their permit application was rejected.

If the staff member approves the permit, after hitting the Regenerate Permit button
an email will be sent to the resident with a link to the updated permit, which they can download.

If the action button is Green, it is an approved permit. To make a change to the status, select the action button where you can then select the Revoke Permit button:

Likewise, if the action button is Red it is a revoked permit. To make a change to the status, select the action button where you can then select the Reinstate Permit button:

In order to communicate these changes to the resident via email, make sure to select the Regenerate Permit button .
