Manually Creating Accounts & Licences


If creating a licence for a resident who is applying/paying in person (“Walk-ins”):

  1. Create the account and licence on the Web-Based Control Panel. This will ensure that there is One account/licence holder. 
  2. DO NOT create permits for residents through the public website using the same login information/email address every time (“Master Login/Account”). This will create multiple permits under one account and the system WILL NOT activate their permit/register their burn when they go to call in.

Application Process on the Admin Side:

For a NEW USER – Steps 1-9

For a RETURNING USER – Steps – 1 & 6-9

  1. When logged into the Web-Based Control Panel and in the Pet Licensing Module head to the Manage Accounts Page. 
  2. Select Create Account: 
  3. Fill in Personal Information and the resident's address. Once the address is entered, select Map It: 
  4. Next, add the contact information for the resident along with their login credentials and their notification subscription method: 
    1. The email must be distinct for each resident. If you create multiple licences under the same login information this will cause problems when trying to locate licences and when residents go to renew their licence the following year. 
    2. if the resident does not have an email address. A faux email address will do. Try to make it as fake as possible but use the resident's name. as long as there is no confusion with proper/real township email addresses it will work. 
    3. Example:
      1. firstname.lastname@lastname.com
      2. firstinitial.lastname@yourtownname.ca
  5. Once you select Save, the account will be created. 
  6. Next, Select Create Licence: 
  7. A pop-up window will appear where you can search and select the resident/account that you wish to create the licence for: 
  8. Once you select the user, you can select/fill in the appropriate information for the licence: 
  9. Next, fill in the notification settings, payment method and select Save to finalize the licence application: 

Creating Kennel Licences

To create a kennel licence for a resident the only difference will be the information that you enter on the licence application. For example, when we select the kennel licence option the pop-up will provide fields where you can enter the appropriate information depending on the information that your municipality requires:
